Zima was ahead of its time. Now similar seltzer beverages are everywhere.

My son and I were at the store the other day, and he was trying to pick a beer for the potluck he was going to, we came across the White Claw section, and he laughed and said Bozeman was the biggest consumer for White Claw per capita when it came out (and went on to say how nasty it is).

I told him it was Zima back in my day, but pretty much the same "crowd" that drank it.

Currently 60 lovely degrees with the moon rising near Phil’s favorite tree.
Such a deep blue evening sky, and the smoke smell is gone. Goodnight everyone.

Nothing that Portland hadn’t already seen. Sacramento should easily be able to achieve 120’s if conditions are right.

It is pretty late though.  Much weaker sun than June and July.

First, September in California is still a very warm month.

Second, my statement was general: it did not pertain only to September. It is more likely to happen in July or August than September.

It's called clown range for a reason.

I was just saying you can't really compare what happened in June last year to anything in September.  There was really no need to get defensive.

Our area is becoming a wasteland. Hardly anywhere to go that hasn’t recently burned besides the coast. Try not to think about it, so sad.

Bozeman is running a +12.2º departure through the first 6 days this month. Extremely hot start to the month of September.

Thankfully after today, fall will finally arrive. Should see my first freeze of the year Saturday morning which is actually a little ahead of the average first freeze of Sept 16th.

I have to admit, I am ready for fall!  The last few weeks of above 90 degree temps have wiped me out.  However I will certainly say that this summer has been more active than the last 2 have combined. Along with the 5 or so T-Storms that each dropped a ton of rain over the summer has been a welcome and needed godsend. So far for the year, I am at 10.99" of precip which is not too shabby.  As for the nasty smoke, we got really lucky to have clearer skies all through August, which almost never happens, even though September is another story.  How did your summer turn out for you Kayla?

Gonna be the warmest first week of September on record for Denver.

Sweet relief in a few days though, as that same air mass that should give you your first freeze will likely keep highs from getting out of the 50s here on Saturday.

Nothing like this week 2 years ago though, when we went from 100 degrees to snow 48 hours later.

All the models seem to be trending a little more troughy for next week now.   Still not much rain being shown but it might end up being pretty cloudy with a stubborn marine layer.
