Always a sure sign that September is nearing the end when it’s time to wash the ash off the truck.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Today is much more sunny than I was anticipating.   Strange to see the first significant fall storm in the West bypassing WA and heading straight for the Bay Area.

The same thing happened one year where it snowed a bunch the following winter.

Air quality is still noticeably low, and more smoke is rolling in off the mountains. Just want some decent air here.

We drove to Bellingham a couple hours ago and it was very obvious between Woodinville and Marysville.   I was surprised that it came back so fast.

73F and sunny here in Pullman. Mostly sunny with very light clouds. WSU (Euro) making CSU look like the GFS but that's a story for a non weather thread.

Count me in as a fan of the 18z GFS and ensembles. Normal is good.

Weird that the 1981-2010 mean 850mb temp actually rises slightly between 9/16 and 10/1, while Eugene's average temperature goes down 3ºF over that period.

ens_image.php?geoid=135643&var=201&run=18&date=2022-09-17&model=gfs&member=ENS&bw=

ive noticed that before. must be some huge heat waves skewing that period
