Meichel
Washington, IL Tornado Just saw this for the first time the other day. A former softball teammate who I also coached (our daughters) with is the driver for this chase team. Pretty nicely broken down. Had no idea he was a weather geek until he started posting some stuff on FB last summer! Enjoy. 1 Quote On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero. ClaireAnderson
It is very uncommon to see double rainbow after or during a rain fall. It is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. 1 Quote Claire Anderson http://www.weathermate.net San Francisco, CA, USA

Andie
Every February, when weather conditions allow, Horsetail Fall on the eastern side of El Capitan appears to turn into a waterfall of fire or molten lava. With enough rainfall and clear skies, the lava-like effect occurs at sunset over a two-week stretch when the angle of the setting sun hits it just right. https://www.sfgate.com/outdoors/article/Yosemite-firefall-2019-no-reservations-parking-lot-13628099.php#photo-16952283 Quote Before You Diagnose Yourself With Depression or Low Self-Esteem,...First Make Sure You Are Not In Fact, Just Surrounded By A$$holes. “If I owned Texas and Hell, I would rent out Texas and live in Hell.” Gen. Andie
I took this photos a few weeks ago looking south from SW Ft. Worth area. I was so excited to see a double rainbow I stood in the mist and grabbed a dozen photos. This was a full ground to ground arch double rainbow. My camera could catch it all it was so close Many yrs ago my uncle stood inside a rainbow. He said he felt transported to another reality. I know understand how early man must have marveled at these miracles from the gods. Sorry for the sideways post. I can't seem to right it. Cloud
Not sure what to make of this as NASA conducted a study on the moon wobble. Warns of coastal floodings by mid-2030s, but this is a common occurrence about every 19 years. With the moon wobble this causes extreme high and low tides, but as sea levels continue to rise, we could see significant flooding. https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/10836

I’ve developed serious back and bone issues. Surgery, more to come. But the colder climate has my curiosity peaked so I’m reading. I also am a writer and I have another book to get out but I’ll be around. 1 Quote Before You Diagnose Yourself With Depression or Low Self-Esteem,...First Make Sure You Are Not In Fact, Just Surrounded By A$$holes. “If I owned Texas and Hell, I would rent out Texas and live in Hell.” Gen.
