I really hope the latest CFSv2 run is off its rocker...it's weeklies keep extending the cooling trend out farther each day it seems as we head into May!

The 27th outlook for May started a warming trend, but today it backed off. Now near normal for May showing up.

I know for sure this first week of May will be mostly below normal around here and on east.

43-44° currently with -RN.

Running a couple weeks behind schedule with the green up. Should have leaves showing up on Maple trees now, but only softwoods so far.

Received another 1.51" of rain on Saturday/night. Ended up with about 6.4" of rain for the month at my house with all of that falling from the 18th to the end of the month. We had no measurable rain the first 17 days of April! Temps were 3 degrees above normal too.

We set an all time record for rainfall in April going back 122 years.  Several people had more than 12 inches and I had 11.75 inches for the month.  My location in the second picture is in the pink colors which has 10-15 inches.

Seen some months around here were nearly 10" of rain has fallen. That's even more extreme for your region.

What are the rivers like? Flooded I bet

Platte River is the closest river to me 17 miles away, running pretty full.  The Republican River coming out of Colorado is also running high.  Reservoirs might be about full.
