In January 2017 I assume we had around 13" but the entire yard was just inundated with snow and drifts everywhere. It was amazing! February 2014 was also nice, I remember near blizzard conditions on the 6th. Yeah it can be really tough sometimes! My best advice would be frequent measurements in least exposed areas. We get a lot of 60+ mph westerly downslope winds off the Gallatin Mountains here in the winter and of course east winds will shoot the gap from Livingston with Arctic air masses so I have my system nailed down pretty well depending on the wind direction. Tonight we should see 35mph winds from the north as the low wraps up south of us so I'll let you know how the measurement process goes tomorrow! 2 1 Quote Cold Season 2023/24: Total snowfall: 26" Highest daily snowfall: 5" Deepest snow depth: 12" Coldest daily high: -20ºF Coldest daily low: -42ºF Number of subzero days: 5 Personal Weather Station on Wunderground: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMTBOZEM152#history
