Hmmm...California (and the Pacific Ocean) seems to take all our rain on the 18z GFS...

Yes... it can be imagined and it got there.

It took us 6 days to get to 153 pages and almost 8k posts.

We ended the second threat at 179 pages and 9k posts.

There was a week missing somewhere between the 6th and the 13th that probably had another thread.

The first week of that month was probably the most wild. Almost impossible to catch up.

Is it bad i want to go back and read this? I wasn't part of the forum yet but know it must be gold.

There were like 3 pages worth of snow events alone. The back half of the month was dominated by the 2-25-19 event. Which is the 2nd biggest snow event here since January’s ‘Wine Dine 69 Big Snow.’

No more hazardous air readings in Portland, but still very unhealthy air ratings across Western Oregon.  Clark County and the northern burbs of Portland are cleaning out to moderates now.

Airnow still shows an air quality around 150 but it looks much better outside right now

According to Windy.com and their models, onshore flow is blowing harder now than it has since this event began.  It hasn't reached the Puget Sound yet, but it will hit the South Sound first it appears. It's coming in through the Chehalis Gap... no other gap worth penetrating.  It is already working it's magic in Whatcom and Skagit County.  From about Standwood to Olympia, no progress yet.

You can see the clean air having it's way with Oregon right now.  I think it's safe to say we are in the beginning stages of a deep cleansing brought to us by Momma Nature.

Curious, what made you want to venture into here?

Noticed the activity and some things were missing, so I jumped right in!

Might I ask what exactly was missing?  This board is generally pretty thorough

CPC forecasting was missing, and I may have been the first one to mention it!

I know that most of Y'all are aware that I don't live in the PNW, but I don't mind helping out for you.

We get non NW people on here from time to time.  Must be some kind of fascination with this odd climate we have.  One thing that's really interesting to me is NW based weather forums are often much more active than places in the country that have more extreme weather.

Looks like NW flow the whole time mostly according to the GFS ensembles

I like NW flow.  A lot more variety and chances for cold nights than WSW flow.  It blows my mind some people want gross SW flow at this point.  We will get plenty of action with the pattern being shown, and it will be more enjoyable IMO.

Weird that all models/ensembles agree at this point that we'll be seeing mostly below normal temps for the next few weeks. Big change after the last four months!

My grandfather was a meteorologist for the navy in WW2. Said we have one of the most difficult areas in the world to forecast. Maybe that's why.
