Black Hole
The annual American Meteorological Society (AMS) meeting will be in Seattle this January. It does cost to get in, but it is a week of good presentations on a variety of subjects where you can really learn a lot. I am scheduled to present some of my work on the low level jet in the Great Plains too. Anyway I would recommend any of you who can to check it out, it is always really good and I will post a schedule when it becomes available. Also, it would be a good chance to meet some of you on this forum if you want to catch lunch one day. 1 Quote Winter 23-24: Total Snow (3.2") Total Ice (0.2") Coldest Low: 1F Coldest High: 5F Snow Events: 0.1" Jan 5th, 0.2" Jan 9th, 1.6" Jan 14, 0.2" (ice) Jan 22, 1.3" Feb

Black Hole
How much is it?My school pays for it so I didn't know until I looked. It's probably too expensive unless you are a student, a few hundred dollars depending on how long you stay. Either way, offer still stands for anybody in the area to get together for lunch at least. Jesse
As long as the laundry list of people who I'm pretty sure want to kill me from the Fox 12 blog aren't there, I'd consider it.
