I am thinking slightly cooler than normal. I might take you on the bet. SEA makes me a bit nervous, though.

Make Tim go with OLM. Go with SEA and the dice is loaded in his favor.

That's for sure.

The 18z GFS ensemble is the coolest yet for early October with a mean of 2C on a couple of days over SEA.  A few members starting to go below the zero line as well.

Good contrail day...

Sun angle still good enough to get a little burnt out there...  water was great for swimming as well.    Around 70 depending on the location.

Warm low tonight. Bodes well for tomorrow's 90's party.

DP up to 64 at PDX. Pretty crazy how steadily it has risen this afternoon. It was in the upper 40s as recently as 3pm.

That is really odd.  Even onshore flow shouldn't have done that.

I think the station is having some issues, upon further inspection.

The -2.0 for this September so far was the last straw for the NWS. PDX will now run warm "SEA style" indefinitely.

OLM is next.

The NWS forecast is pretty cool for Seattle this week after tomorrow.  By the end of the week they are going for highs near 60 and lows in the 40s.

GFS MOS has an incredible crash from 73 to 71 between Monday and Tuesday.  :)

No way the 73 will verify and the 71 is doubtful, but not impossible.

It would be very difficult to not go higher than 73 tomorrow given the warm air mass and lack of clouds.  I would be astonished if it verified.  On the Tuesday reading mid to upper 60s are more likely than low 70s.  All in all it doesn't really matter to me.  I'm much more interested in the coming trough.

Lake Sammamish area is in a great location. Always warmer there. It was 80 on our very reliable Expedition thermometer when we launched the boat. And it felt all of 80 there.
