November will end up with a -0.6 departure from normal for FSD. We received 2.1 inches of snowfall which is 4 inches less than our average snowfall in November. We had eight days that registered a trace of snowfall. Also received 0.81 inches of precip which is 66% of our normal rainfall (1.22). The month was bookend by our highest max and our lowest min, reaching 78 on 11/1 and falling to 9 on 11/30.

Overall certainly not a bad November with a few early tastes of winter that didn't quite live up to their potential. Hoping we can score something a bit more substantial in December!

Okay so I'm a little excited about the weather changes we will be experiencing in the next 7 to 10 days.  It's becoming more and more clear that the majority of us will have a early start to Winter.

Orchard Park, New York reported 77" of snow in 24 hours, setting preliminary new state record for snowiest 24 hours. The previous record stood at 50" in Camden, New York on February 1, 1966.
