A station in Cedar Mill had a gust of 45mph

Low of 31. Currently 32. Very frosty! The Coyotes must love this weather as they have been super active.

Freezing drizzle here in Bend. It's extremely slick with black ice at my location in sw Bend. Trees are coated with a thin layer of ice.

Looks like the ICON is trying to cut off the energy from that trough back near Hawaii around day 7-8.  The 6Z gfs could be onto something if that were to happen.

Temp up 6 degrees in 5 minutes with a breeze picking up.

Got as low as 33 overnight which is pretty impressive considering how the east wind has been raging. Up to 35 now with strong gusts continuing.

A bit icy. Actually seeing some snow flurries now though.

7yrs ago today we had a powerful west wind event (slightly weaker but similar to the one a few weeks ago) and we were powerless (at our old place) for a day or so. Lake house was out for 3 days.

We're up to about 31 right now and the cats are watching the tree shed leaves. Most other treees have already lost their foliage by now.

Back to back 24 F lows. The east wind didn't get here until sunrise, but it's blowing good now. Gusts of 35 mph. The trash can lids are holding on for dear life.

Seems like a situation where I’d say there is an above average chance that the Euro is way off after day 6-7 or so.
