I'd guess Seatac tacoma area will transition to rain between 2:30 and 5pm

Woke up to a dusting on most surfaces here earlier, maybe a quarter inch or so of snow on grass after a low of 26.2F last night. A pleasant surprise.

Light rain now. 

Places with some elevation are doing pretty well around here

Great to see the Euro not back down on this is the GFS has weakened that block in recent runs. Could really make this thing special if we get that additional blast with some snow.

If that pans out would be a little later than modled by the EURO. precip rates do look to bring snow back to that area later today however.

Looks like 500 foot kind of stuff, but gradients do die off nicely on Thursday coinciding with the coldest upper level stuff.

Yeah just a bit too warm. Eventually cools off as the low pulls south but we are running out of juice at that point. Similar story to the 00z Euro. Still interesting enough to watch though.

Very fine light flurries here at the office in Gastown, falling as individual tiny ice crystals, not even aggregated into flakes. No accumulation.

Looks pretty similar to me. And the one from Sunday morning is Kuchera so you'd expect it to be lower anyways.

Closing in on 1.5 inches. Snow really starting to lighten up. A change to smaller flakes also.

Definitely still our best crack at something accumulating in the Portland metro. Feel like tomorrow night will be just a hair too warm for most of us.
