Looks plenty cold up this way. -4C. Not as much precip as I’d hope for though

Those maps are a great example of how the Hood Canal can be getting snow at sea level while its way too warm out here for snow at 1,000 feet.

started snowing about midnight, wind was so bad (it was also trash/recycling today, so carts were out last night) trash and recycle blew everywhere and now we've had about 3-4" and with blowing and drifting some 2' drifts.  Still snowing moderate to heavy.  welcome winter

Chilly inside and out! Had some slop failing a bit ago. Temp has fallen 3 degrees since 4:30am. Just fired up the generator!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

November 2017 was a total non event below 3000’ down here. This has been way better.

Yesterday was insane. 38/32 with nearly 5” of snow and 2” of precipitation. Another inch overnight. Winding down and drippy now.

Aaaaaand back to rain.

Radar shows it is one of those bits of leftover moisture the Euro has picked up on. Wouldn’t amount to much even though it stayed all snow. That leftover moisture stays around until about tomorrow morning, then it’s bone-dry going forward.

Way I look at it, seeing any snow in the first week of November is a score.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Still snowing but hard to get an accurate number on totals.  just walking to the street was almost knee deep in some spots, some places bare due to wind.  I'm thinking 3-4" ish so far

Looking at OBS it looked like Spokane did well.

Been awhile since we've seen coast to coast cold.

We are leaving for Florida at the end of the week... might be the best spot to be next week for warmth and sun.   👍

Our timing might be great for weather in Florida... but I did not expect to miss a long stretch of sun and dry weather here when we decided to book this trip in November.    I assumed it would be raining every day here.
