Light east wind kept up all night, so a low of just 36 here. Looks like it got pretty chilly in areas that decoupled though. I see a 19 in Eugene.

Coldest since January 2017 at Eugene

We didn't have a freeze either. Just a few miles away Hillsboro got down to 21 at least.

34 at SEA and 40 in North Bend this morning.

We got home before dawn.   Still a decent amount of leaves on the trees in the yard.    There is a little breeze out there but it honestly doesn't feel that cold even after being Florida for over a week.

I am sure I would feel differently if I lived in the cold air trap that is the sandy flat plain where OLM is located.  😀

Feels like Florida here.

Dropped to 24 here last night.  I was thinking it might get a little bit colder, but still impressive.

On another note....Does Corbett usually get blasted with wind like they are today?  A gust to 68 and they have been very windy for hours now.

Corbett is literally one of the windiest towns in Oregon during the cold season. If not the windiest.

Low of 28 this morning freeze #4 this month.

I'm at 12 in a row now.  Very rare for so early in the season.

ESPN College Gameday is in Bozeman today  and it’s currently -6 degrees there. Makes for some pretty great TV with the crowd all dressed for an Antarctic voyage.

Meanwhile...this La Nina isn't going anywhere anytime soon.  Nino 3.4 is just into moderate Nina territory right now and the subsurface isn't budging.

That's how much some places had in 2014 right? Except this time continuously

The 2014 event happened on the exact same days as well (11/17-11/19)... and during an extended dry spell here.

Orchard Park is the town the Bills stadium is in. No wonder they moved the game to Detroit. 😅

Can you imagine trying to move that much snow in time for the game?

No doubt that 2014 cold shot was very much like this one.  We had what I call a clear windstorm with that one too.  That year had the warm October also, and yet it was a Nino.  Really odd.

I have a friend who’s a grounds crew guy at century link and T-Mobile park. He says you can’t move that much snow in time without ruining the field.

Back-to-back nights in the teens for Olympia and Arlington.

This has been quite a run of cold mins.  I'm at 31.2 IMBY for the month to date average low, and some places are quite a bit below that.

Nothing has been Nina-like since May.    Hottest summer ever does not line up well with a Nina.
