Honestly I don't get the twitter craze and I think society will be far better off it is ceases to exist. There are too many lunatics on the platform. Far too many. Just my opinion. I live an app-free lifestyle though, so could just be me. Outstanding

00z ECMWF in 4 hours 53 minutes GET READY!!!!

Twitter (is/was) a great way to get info quickly and NWS is well suited for it, much better than Facebook. I wish the NWS had more websites they monitored but I suppose that would dilute resources.

Currently 20 degrees which was about the forecast low  for this overnight but still dropping.

10-12 miles was the difference between epic and bust

I think it is really fun that the Bills Stadium in Orchard Park ended up being the bullseye of the storm. I had heard some saying some models tracked closer to Buffalo proper but moving the game was the right decision.

Moving up to WA next year and want to try to go somewhere that gets a reasonable amount of snow. Is there anywhere within 45 minutes of Redmond that gets significantly more snow than the rest of Seattle area? Thinking there realistically isn't anywhere within that radius that will get significantly more than any other suburb, but maybe there's something I've overlooked. Right now I will probably just look at houses out in the far east part of Redmond where the elevation goes up around 500', but let me know if there's something better!

For those in the Sound. How would he do in North Bend or Snoqaulmie (the town) Or is that too far from Redmond? If you're working for MSFT, that's super cool btw! Welcome!

I am really impressed how the outflow in the lower Fraser Valley has stayed so chilly in spite of the much higher 850s we have been seeing.  The low level cold is a pretty big deal right now.

I sure wish this pattern would hold for a few more days so the Gorge outflow could get really cold.

SEA had about 350 degrees of excess temperature build up from July through October and 100 degrees of that has been eaten up by this cold November.

33 and frosty here. Should manage freeze #5 tomorrow morning. Maybe 20s but we will see.

I was in the SE Tacoma area about an hour ago and it was bloody cold there.  That area must have temps similar to McChord.

Some pretty crazy temp spreads youd expect to see somewhere like Wyoming or the inter mountain west regions today in the lowlands. 49/17 at JBLM, 48/18 at OLM and 52/18 at Shelton.

This isn't bad. Definitely not warm.

I was going to say, the warm period the models had been showing is really getting watered down.
