Hmm looks like the high on Wednesday will come at 4am. Temps drop into the 30s after that

No, GFS handles the arctic trough much better.

Can’t be disappointed in that almost a week out. There is potential for a major region wide event with just a slight adjustment.

Really? Also, block is much better on Euro at 168hours, and troughs are riding down it.

I think it did this a couple of days ago. 

Snow is still good, along with 850s and surface Temps.

I vote for an 80% ECMWF / 20% GFS blend on this run.  ECMWF looks good for snow, but not quite as cold as previous runs.  Still really cold though.
