Property in Eastern Washington is getting nuked. The flow is perfect right now. Looks like about 6 inches so far.

Wauconda FTW!! You must have a pretty good webcam set up to be able to eyeball snowfall totals :) SHARE!

Finished up yesterday with .48" and already up to .94" so far since midnight.  Temp popped up to 44 briefly around 3:30 this morning then dropped down to the current temp of 38.  Very curious to see where the rainfall totals end up with this one...

Video from my mother in Nampa. Looks like a pretty good chunk of moisture coming through but will turn to rain soon. Sounds pretty wet in the video.

in the last 20 min or so it's really started to slush up the street, fortunately it's getting up to 50 later or this would be a ice rink tomorrow

Lucky you! Up here in Boundary County, ID we are under a winter storm warning with nothing coming down. Had some very light snow off and on overnight.

from wxbell. How is 2022 listed as an analog when we haven't even experienced this winter?

Would refer to last winter? This year will be the 2023 winter from Dec-Feb.

We woke up about half an hour earlier this morning and my spouse made pancakes to get us going. Then we moved everything into the house or shed because of the high winds that are coming. The second most recent map had the highest winds in Garfield county pretty much mirroring the county outline but NWS has expanded it again this morning for much more of the CWA.

The rain shadow is moving again and the rain is starting to move back in.  Wind is also picking up, and it's getting a bit gusty.  Currently basking in a warm 52 degrees.

Edit.  Nope, I was wrong.  Rain not moving in, yet.🙃

Weatherbell is actually forecasting a cold winter??

They are kinda funny.  They have 2 different forecasts it seems.  One is their analog driven forecast and the other looks like their Pioneer model which spits out a different outcome.

Tim, please re-post the very dry extended map for these people again? They just don't learn. *sigh*

2.35" so far in the last 24 hours. That puts this as the third wettest 24 hour period I've recorded behind 2.70" for 1/4-5/15 (noon to noon) and 2.50" for 11/12-13/15 (10 a.m. to 10 a.m.).

Unfortunately that was split between 0.82" yesterday and 1.53" today. Not sure I'll hit my wettest calendar day ever (2.24" from 5/28/10), but it's definitely a bit damp out there.
