I'm all in for long stretches of cold and dry weather with snow on the ground.

I'm really skeptical of the low clouds the GFS in particular is showing for Wednesday night.  That would sure ruin a cold night.  We shall see I guess.  On a good note 850s are shown to be pretty low that night.

But, we don't have snow on the ground.  Well, most of us don't anyways.

Am I missing something? 😄

December 1985 was probably pretty nasty from a 500mb perspective.

Yeah they are very friendly too. These ones like to follow like a puppy, without the licking the jumping on me. On the other hand they will nibble at clothing to

I’d love to be wrong but I’m thinking the next week won’t be nearly as chilly as some are expecting, at least in the lowlands.

What do you think people are expecting? Average for SLE is 55/40, I would think we average 5-7 degrees below normal through the rest of the work week.

Considering Snow Wizard is still a member here this has been placed in the Captain Obvious File. It’s thick.

I envision lots of low 50s/mid 30s type days for the Portland area.

I can see it, would like to think they at least pull off a few sub 50 days. Squeezing in a freeze may take an act of god.
