Lots of 32/33 degree readings in Enumclaw and almost certainly snowing.

Also snowing and sticking on Tiger Mountain at 1,375 feet. I assume it’s snowing at your house @TT-SEA?

Clarification... its Issaquah Highlands and Snoqualmie Ridge.     I think that cam is near Snoqualmie Ridge.

Yes. I know where the cam is by road, but between Snoqualmie Ridge, Issaquah Highlands, Renton Highlands, Sammamish Highlands, Redmond Ridge, and whatever that neighborhood is up above North Bend, I get it all mixed up. Kind of like all the different hills in Kent, Auburn, and Puyallup.

Yeah... it all sounds similar for sure.   We are in the Uplands.   Just another way of saying elevated ground!

The odds are better than you might think.  NEVER underestimate what can happen when there's any Frazer outflow.

Not much help from the Fraser outflow at this point. Still raining and 40F at Abbotsford despite a NE wind.  Hope has turned to snow in the last 1/2hr

The webcam for enumclaw looks kinda grainy but based on the temps being 32-33 looks like it’s snowing there. Looks like snow on under the streetlights.

Impressive it's that cold there.  The temp has fallen almost a degree here in the last 20 minutes or so.  Currently 36.  The rain is getting a bit lumpier as well.

It appears the cold may arrive too late to help you much there.  I thought for sure this was going to work out up there.

Tomorrow and tomorrow night look better up here if there is any instability left over as the colder air slowly works it’s way in.  Could see some heavy bursts of snow.

Snow is definitely sticking on most surfaces now so if any additional precip arrives I could see at least a coating by morning

Only down to 36 with chunky rain still. I have a feeling the moisture might run out before it gets cold enough where I’m at.

Around 1/2 an inch of wet snow here.   ECMWF nailed the timing and extent of the precip.

It shows another band moving into the Seattle area this afternoon and precip lingering around the south Sound this evening... but 925mb temps will be significantly warmer tonight than last night.

It is worth mentioning that the ECMWF does show some significant snow in the Hood Canal area tonight with that persistent band of precip out there and cold air damming.     The map below is total snow from this morning through tomorrow morning and you can clearly see the cold air trapped against the Olympics later tonight.

Looks plenty cold up this way. -4C. Not as much precip as I’d hope for though
