35F just before midnight at KSEA. A 43/35 day.

In the midst of a crummy ECMWF run we have to find some highlights. 00z GEFS for Moses Lake wasn't bad. The mean temp is around -5c for a good chunk of the run and there is a cluster of members colder yet. There are also several warmer members too. This does seem to suggest backdoor "colder" air may remain over the Columbia Basin for a good while. La-la land looks crummy though. BUT yeah.

CMCE features quite a wet pattern. GEFS more on par with the EPS. The dry ridge-fest won't last more than 7-10 days.

00z GFS Day 6-10, 8-14 Analog Composites were very good, surprisingly so. Check out several of those years popping up. Very cold! Correlation score of over 91%. This gives me a glimmer of hope. I suppose.

Managed to drop to 30 before midnight for my first freeze since April 15th.  4th latest first freeze.  Doesn't seem to have any baring on the winter's weather.  207 days between freezes.

Still have lingering clouds trapped up against the foothills out here which probably kept it warmer than it would have been otherwise.  

ECMWF shows a pretty good push of low clouds late tonight into tomorrow morning.

It dropped down to -15F in Great Falls last night. Pretty remarkable (and record breaking) for them this early in the season.

13F/4F here yesterday. Currently 8F with moderate snow.
