Ok it looks to me like a spiraling low coming straight down through NW washington right now... precip almost consolidated to all locations 1 mile east of me, and everywhere north and south. SCREW ZONE. Lynden to Sumas and pretty much the entire county east, south and north of me are getting hammered right now...

Yup. I've been in Houston since the 23rd, and will be for a few more days. But cruising through the border cams tonight and seeing snow on the ground has got me ready to come back home.

It was basically the same as December 2008, though. Someone had to go to a second decimal place to determine this

Got about 2" here on most surfaces except the roads which are well above freezing, looking SW towards south Vashon Island

This reminds me of the first bout with snow in 96. They forcasted it to go north and it snuck in just to the south and got really cold again after. It was forcasted to be a snow to rain event.
