Okay wow! Had twelve dang pages to catch up on!

Unfortunately I am juuust too north. As is life, this stuff happens sometimes. Maybe we can get some northward expansion but the clock is ticking and time is running out on the best dynamics. Not holding my breath.

Really happy for you all to the south! Keep posting pictures and video! I am living vicariously through you all right now. :)

I wouldn't give up just yet, snow reports have made it as far as Downtown Seattle! Precip now shows as being over me, but too light to make it toot he ground RN.

Really interesting situation.    That large area of precip on the radar is just forming and re-forming in place.    I can see 30-40 miles to the east here and the Cascades are perfectly clear and the sky is brighter in that direction.    Is not moving through my area... its perpetually developing just to my west.

Dumping snow again here but it’s been pretty slow to accumulate since the temp has been hovering between 33 and 34. Still great to get a little sticking snow/snow in the air. Nice to get in on the fun.

First stickage of the day here. Down to 33.7 so right on the cusp for wet accumulations.

So close and yet so far.  It just can't seem to come together here.  Are you west or east of Auburn?

Right, but the snow totals going north will follow a pretty linear curve with a sharp gradient. I have little doubt flurries will make it as far as snohomish county, but the real accumulations appear held to south of the city.

Who knows though, maybe this thing jogs north in the next hour or so and parks itself over my place. I've seen it happen before, and some CAMs last night were hinting at it. But like I said, not holding my breath. I've been blessed in this location in the last few years. Sharing the love, even if it is so, so painfully close, is still very much a positive thing to me.

Currently spun out trying to get up from Puyallup to SH. Will update shortly if I need a tow😂

Oh no. We all want snow, but this is NOT the way we want it. Puyallup is an absolute disaster that nobody was prepared for. Untreated roadways, everyone still out driving, no advisories. The wife is stuck a few miles away with her and her friends’ cars, the kids are with grandma—this is one of those “uh oh” situations that I feel I should have been better prepared for, at least.

A lot of people (myself included) don’t pay as much attention on busy weekends. The fact there was no advisory or anything for this is going to turning out very badly.

NWS can never win.
