LowerGarfield
I had .20 on the snowboard. Mostly snow but a very small bit of graupel. Is graupel counted as snow or as ice? It was about 85% snow so I'm think I will just count it as snow, but what is the official way to count a snow/graupel mix? edit: I think it and sleet are counted but not frz. But I'm not 100%. I checked and had to refresh my board just after 12:30 because the mix made any future accumulation uneven. I have little doubt flurries will make it as far as snohomish county, but the real accumulations appear held to south of the city. Who knows though, maybe this thing jogs north in the next hour or so and parks itself over my place. I've seen it happen before, and some CAMs last night were hinting at it. But like I said, not holding my breath. I've been blessed in this location in the last few years. Sharing the love, even if it is so, so painfully close, is still very much a positive thing to me. Oh yeah I would be shocked if I see any accumulations.
