The first band came through and it snowed pretty good this one not so much. Just light snow here for now. Sometimes it takes the flakes a bit longer to make it to the ground? Lol

Radar is soooo frustrating in these situations. I tell myself the same things like oooh I bet they’re blowing away from the clouds at an angle so the radar signatures actually need to be north of me or some bs lol

That’s probably it. Something big is brewing up in the clouds. When it gets here…. Look out!!

I’ve done pretty well not going to the radar and just enjoying the background snow happening and doing my projects around the house.  Watching the radar or stock market I found is bad for my health at times!!!
I have to say it’s pretty weird to be getting the action this week.  Usually we’re the ones to fail at the white stuff.

26 with DP at 13.  0" accumulation of snow overnight but we did accumulate 18.3 miles per hour in wind gusts.

We did have some thick freezing fog around 9-10 last night, glad the winds did kick that up to push that out and get rid of the ice that was starting to accumulate.

Over 1.5” now and it’s coming down good again. Radar is looking impressive and this time it’s also impressive at the surface.

That is really amazing.    Glad to see the South Sound scoring again.

I've picked up about another inch this morning.  Looks like a nice area of snow east of OLM right now.  Hard to tell how far west the snowfall from that will extend when it gets further north.

28.1 degrees. No snow falling. Might never snow up here again. It’s over, dreams are dashed. Time to move down to Puyallup.
The snow is now crunchy with the paw prints frozen in time.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

We had a dusting of snow last night. Not enough to measure and really just a coating. Still interesting.

Hope that band over Olympia can move NE

I think you're going to catch this big shower moving up now.  It might be far enough west for me too.
