Precip looking marginally better on the  00z Euro. Temps look good before the precip but ends up a hair too warm. Precip rates are still too light and much lower than the other models.

Day 9'er Hopefully just like the 12z the EPS will show this brief warming ridge will be an outlier. No one wants warm muck!

The ECMWF shows copious precip in the day 5-9 day period.    Luckily most of it is snow in the mountains.

Mixing with snow now near U-Village/Ravenna.

Was trying to transition an hour or two ago, but then went back to rain. Maybe this time's a charm.

Interesting fully snow for the past hour with accumulation now right around the west end of Ravenna park/Cowen park

Alternating between light rain and snow mixed with rain here at 38F. This will be my fourth day I've seen snowflakes this season so maybe it will be my first accumulation of the season!

ECMWF shows the heaviest precip for Seattle is coming in a couple hours... its going to be another sleepless night for many!    Probably won't get any snow out here.

It has stayed consistently heavy here for about 30 minutes now. If it were just a tad cooler it’d be adding up much faster. I haven’t gone and done a measurement yet but it’s probably getting close to 1/4” and sticking to the roads a bit now. Been a lot of 33 degree snow this past week which stacks up great on grassy/elevated surfaces but not so much on concrete.

Well it's not only dumping snow here, but it's also incredibly windy again. Blizzard 2: electric boogaloo

Wow... somehow we have no wind and absolutely nothing falling here.  You would not know anything is going on around us.    I think of your location being similar to my area but I am learning now that we can wildly different weather depending on the situation.

It's funny, I think it would look very different if I were 200 feet higher or 1,000 yards north.

It does seem to be a few degrees warmer. U-Village tends to be like that unfortunately for fringe events.

I left the TV on FOX13 after the game and was just subjected to local media stupidity that I usually try to avoid.

First they have a guy driving around with a dash cam and he has mostly been in rain so I got to hear comments like "look at that rain hitting the windshield"... then the weather person said its wrapping in Tacoma and just rain but North Bend will get lots of snow tonight.    😀

I mean... come on.    Every one of us would be a more knowledge weather anchor.

Ya, the TV news thing is history for me…..this forum is where I get all my info regarding weather along with NOAA.  Your all a lot more entertaining as well!  Used to love the weather segments back in the old days though.
33.3 now and snow continues

I really hope you get some accumulation tonight. I think your area is one of the few that has done as bad or worse than this area. You're doing better than here so far, in spite of continuous moderate radar returns overhead nothing measurable has reached the ground yet, still 38F with a SE breeze. Tonight seems like the last decent chance around here before the pattern resets and who knows when the next opportunity will come.

Wow. A lot to catch up on!

Moderate snow and 32F. Right north of the boundary. Sticking on everything. A rare GFS verification in progress. :)

I'm *hoping* this means the GFS is more on the money regarding Sunday for down here, but at the same time I know that's not how it works...
