Maybe we'll get a massive blast in the long range.

I don't recall that one much but I'm fervently praying the N/S gradient wasn't too bad...

I was reading a story about mountain climbing and took a side trip to read about the death zone.    It said that the human body and brain is at optimal performance and endurance from sea level to 490 feet in elevation.    Living low is good for you!

The classic "will it" or "won't it" PNW snow predictions I always hated as a small kid.

What I liked about Dec 2021 was how cold it was.  The big flakes look cool, but at the end of the day, you mostly have just wet grass.

That was talking about Britain I think.  Pretty common for big winters to manifest over large parts of the Northern Hemisphere when this big time blocking happens.

Oh god, not another week of model riding watching these small systems and inevitably getting 33 rain or missing out on precip all together 😂

A little cell has popped over Kent and Auburn... any snow falling down there?

Interesting.  That one might have a shot at hitting here.  Looks like it's intensifying too for the time being at least.

Yup.  The GFS shows yet another legit cold shot next weekend (not to be confused with the potential for this weekend).
