Maybe Victoria will get in on this one. We only got about 0.5" total that melted the same day in the last round. Extremely cold upper levels are usually better in this area. Combine that with cold onshore flow meeting Fraser Outflow and some pretty big snowfalls can happen in the North Sound.

Puget Sound had some areas of ice start to form in Jan 1950.
