The 06Z GFS showed the next significant precipitation here is on December 12th... that it 12 days with almost nothing.    Pretty unusual for early December.    The snow here is going to be around for a long time... until we get a SW wind and rain event.

Radar shows a nice band moving north from Puyallup into E King. Hope it can hold together!

That is some strong offshore flow on the 12Z GFS this weekend... very low dewpoints ahead.

06z Euro still shows snow for western OR on Sunday. Not much juice but this comes from the same low that slides by to the south on Friday, some precip wraps back up north by Sunday. By this point the low is down by CA and fairly weak so I wouldn't expect too much moisture from this if it happens.

That big shower is going to be a close call for this area.  The more steady stuff has stayed a bit west for the most part.  Great day for Tacoma.

The snow on Tuesday night was dense here as well... it was unusually tough for the snowblower to throw it and it kept getting clogged.

Had some flakes in the air earlier but nothing sticking yet. Down to 35 which is the low for the day so far. Heading down toward Corvallis today so should be an interesting drive at very least.

Ended November with a 46/38 day yesterday. PDX put up an absolutely pathetic 49/41.

Yeah... I was sure my snowblower was having issues but it worked fine last night on the lighter snow that fell in the evening.
