Temps seem like they're going to be the biggest issue. Been at 35 here for an hour even with good precip rates.

Look like precip is a bit farther north than anticipated. Temps remains to be an issue hanging around 36-37F.

It's an incredible morning.  If this is it for the winter I'm pretty happy on the snow front.

The models have been very clear King County is the cutoff line for the good stuff.  There is obviously a lot of wiggle room as to exactly how far north the extent will be though.

You can see the radar echoes moving west across central WA... then there is a break west of the Cascades with downsloping... and then things explode again to the west and south of here.   Its the same moisture band.    

ECMWF shows basically nothing here so not expecting anything.   But enjoying the event through everyone else!

I actually had a guy working for me that I had to give a wake up call to a few times a week.  He did a lot of cocaine and boozed it up, but he was a real good HVAC installer so I put up with him.  The final straw though was when a customer called me asking why he was high as a kite around her kids.  I had to let him go after that.

It's just that January has so much more potential than any other month.  The fact we have been pulling off solid winters without it is pretty remarkable.  January has been the center piece of many great winters in the past.
