I might have to tell the wife that the office needs me on site so I have an excuse to come up there if this continues.

Patiently waiting to see if the north end of precip will make it to Seattle…

12/2: .2" + .5" = .7" | 12/3: .2" | 12/4: trace

12/18: .4" | 12/19: .2" + .8" = 1.0" | 12/20: .2 + 1.5" = 1.7

1/31: trace | 2/14: trace | 2/22: .2 | 2/26: 1.0"

Nice to see some good snowfall this afternoon, even at the warmer temperatures! (Also glad that roads should still be fine on the north end, I've got a hockey game in Mountlake Terrace this afternoon, and after missing practice Wednesday night, my skate legs are practically twitching 😂)

This has been a darn good little stretch of winter this last week here.

It’s been perfect, again…like living in the high country and snow is so easy to get all the sudden.  Moderate snow and 34*

Pay no attention to the mismatched socks….single life has its perks 😁

I have to think and wonder how much different this last week would have been 100 years ago? Take the exact pattern but 100 years ago before the minimal warming we've had between now and then. 1 degree makes a big difference.

I was thinking this is the sort of borderline situation that would have produced similar results 100 years ago. Nice to see.

The EPS has been showing signs of ridging over us at the end of the run for the last few days.   JB and Judah must be thrilled.  Still even at the end of the run our temps and 850s are close to if not slightly below normal, though Western Oregon does get above normal right at the end.
