Looks like my snowmobile head lamp lighting the way when I lived Up North. Was great riding both during or right after a nice storm dumping.

I have 12” on my grass.   So my guess would be around 14-15” totals thus far.

I think it was Feb '93? Going NWS forecast was 2-4" (and this was synoptic mind you). 18" later it wrapped-up. Prolly my all-time best over-performer 😆

I figured we’d be on the high end of the 4-7” forecasted, but didn’t expect to double the high end.   Models struggle with Les.

Congrats on the nice haul! 2nd of your "non-season" 🤣

I was on my fat ebike actually. Worked great until the chain froze up and the battery died before I could make it back ...

Snow was a little too deep.

Hey i did predict my snows would come from WSW direction lake effect snow events this year.  At least this one has staying power.  The November one was nice but it was just so wet and slushy and melting so fast it was more annoying than anything.   This is nice powder out there.

Where you located again?   I drove to Jenison this evening.  Just got back.  What an adventure.

Wife and I were in Kzoo this morning. Just a decent coating from the CF passage yesterday. Coating was solid all the way east along 94 past Marshall. Sure looks a lot more like winter than around here. Tbh, last evening's snow was a complete surprise so not a let-down or anything. Padding my way to the 2" mark on the season, lol.

Have you ever seen a 2 mile long train? If you have ever driven along the roads that run parallel to rail road tracks in Nebraska you understand what I'm talking about. Well, this train was incased in snow from this blizzard; something I have never seen in my life time. This is from Dalton, Nebraska.
