I wish I had a time lapse camera going, we had a beautiful sunrise in the making with it being clear down low, but a nice shelf of clouds to catch the pink/oranges of sunrise.  I look outside 5 minutes later and it is socked in with fog, but its a dense but shallow layer so the fog is now glowing pink/orange.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Euro gives Portland a bit of snow with that system, the GFS has it way up north. Hoping it trends south

I hope it trends perfectly for everyone’s location.

I’d actually be happy with like 4-6”of snow and then some prolonged sub freezing weather.  And you guys down south can have your big snowstorm

37F high for yesterday since it never cleared completely. Currently 32F and cloudy let's see if we will see some sun today.

Roxy Ann Peak in Medford. We go there from time to time just to see Medford all cover in fog/clouds.

Gfs continues to trend colder sooner. Could be a great event for Bellingham. Fairly long duration up there too.

Yeah... that area was warm nosed.    While areas around Tacoma and from I-90 northward kept the low level cold longer.   It was a mess out here.

That’s one thing I hated about Maple Valley. Seemed like we always warmed and turned to rain before everyone else.

Looks like 12z GFS is a bit colder for Sunday - Tuesday with some soldiers Sunday, but then dry and cold air spills east with no overrunning event at all anymore.

Much different than the ICON... the initial trough is too far east to dig out over the ocean and spin up that big overrunning event the ICON shows.    The 12Z GFS is actually quite a bit faster to move the trough out than even its 00Z run.

Looks like the 12Z GEM is going with the GFS type solution from what I can see so far.

Gem and gfs look pretty similar with the energy kind of split as it approaches offshore.

Yes... both the GEM and GFS do the same thing and warm it up even faster than their 00Z runs.    I was thinking they would at least go in the direction of the ICON.

The GFS and GEM are a little colder initially though.    But colder initially seems to end up being warmer faster.
