I-5 apparently closed north of Eugene, things are deteriorating rapidly across the region.

Hey! Mostly a lurker on here, but we definitely have freezing rain out in west Port Angeles. 23 currently with a dew point of 16. No snow or sleet, just straight to freezing rain. 😬

Yikes!!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

It is 25F and ZR in EUG with a steady 15 mph north wind. I think we would have all preferred regionwide snow but the strength of this low level cold is pretty incredible.

Curious to see what happens for you folks up in the Sound. Doesn't seem like the low level cold is in a hurry to go anywhere too soon.

Really hoping the projected sleet and freezing rain totals are one and the same, the way the sleet is accumulating now is not good, our driveway has never been this bad, when just straight freezing rain moves in the situation is not gonna be good here for several hours.  Temp is still 24 and DP is 14.

It'll be interesting to see how it goes down up here. The GFS is showing equal parts snow and freezing rain but I'm bracing for just ice and maybe some sleet, you know, managing expectations. It's now been at or below 20 for 101 straight hours in downtown Bellingham which is pretty cool (stuck at 20 since 1:30 today).

Nearing 48 hours straight of negative teens and lower here now. This whole event has been completely mind blowing to me. All-time cold up and down the entire state...in 2022. Just incredible.

You have to imagine our frost depth is probably already 3-4 feet below surface level at this point even with our 30" snow depth.

Airport is currently -31 and -26 here.

My cabin had a minus 8 minus 30 day. Impressive.

We come from the land of the ice and snow.
