Normal to below temps starting next Wednesday for a few days then some ridging for a week makes sense, we are do for a dry spell.  I'd bet between Jan 25th and Feb. 5th is when the goods will delivery again.

MBG! No reason why February can’t deliver again.

Due for a dry spell? What have we been in the last week to 10 days if not a "dry" spell. Sure it's been on and off showers, but it's been significantly drier than normal throughout the area.

Is this good

More members and higher resolution is not necessarily better when it comes to numerical modeling. We need to know why the models are getting certain things wrong to know if this will make an improvement.

We ve had rain pretty much every day, but low amounts, only about 50% of average. Kind of a worst of both worlds.

My wife texted from Everett a bit ago saying Thunder down there. I ran home and crated my sound sensitive Border Collie. Heavy rain at the moment but no noise from the sky yet.

The weather today was wilder than I was anticipating!

Definitely.   First SEA had a 54 mph wind gust from the east ahead of the storm and then a gust of 41 mph from the south after the storm offshore lifted north... and then throw in thunderstorms and torrential rain.    And it was another torchy day.
