00z GEM Day 5-10. Pattern sets up at Day 6 to 6.5. Could it be? I would piss myself, couch, carpet, wall, tile, ceiling, bed, etc. if the Canadian ensembles were in agreement.

That's the real deal right there.  Not that far out either.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I know the last couple of Decembers haven't shown much snow.. but that arctic blast we got right before Christmas was pretty cold. Can afternoon temperatures in the single digits happen that late?

I’m not sure. Longer days in March will limit how cold daytime highs can get. But we’ve had numerous subzero lows in March, many of them within the last decade.

Was the snowstorm here from the arctic front or an overrunning event? It looks like it got cold after it snowed.

Arctic front. One of those rare setups where the metro area avoided really any southerly flow whatsoever with rapidly lowering heights from the north.

10" of snow at Downtown has to be one of the snowier arctic fronts in the past few decades? Seems like a fantastic event in an otherwise torchy month
