I feel like Tim is trying hard to make this thing go east so he doesn’t miss out on the action while he is sipping Margaritas in Hawaii! Could Tim be a bigger snow weenie than Jim? 😮🤣

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

When comparing 12Z run yesterday to 12Z run today on Tropical Tidbits... the 12Z run today is not nearly as good as the 12Z run yesterday for early next week in terms of a re-load.

Yesterday on top... today on bottom.

Looks good up here. That magic 528 line is way south.

The 516 line is to PDX at hour 144 and 850mb temps look to be below -10C hard to tell on tidbits though.

Right... the cold air just roars in now and the re-load potential afterwards is lower.    Seems more likely that western WA is going right from rain to cold and dry and then a slow moderation.

If you live for just cold then this is all good... bird in the hand!

Lasts night 12z didn't get anywhere to a reload, a ridge builds over us and it slides east.

Do you mean the 00z run before it? That was the one that showed the big reload, but it seems like that was mostly just an outlier run. The shorter range stuff looks better from what I can tell

I don't really consider cold without snow.    Don't even feel the need to mention it to family.    Its a non-event in terms of daily life.

But a snowstorm and then cold... that sets of all the bells and whistles for me!

I totally and completely understand some people are just as excited about only cold and that is awesome.    Just explaining my perspective.
