Way warmer than the GEM too.

GFS bottoms out at -7C over SEA.     What happened to the GFS and its cold bias?

Been a few days since we talked about kitchen cutlery. But it’s time.

If you like dry and vaguely chilly days, this is the pattern for you. I know some will disagree, but I'd rather have buckets of rain and 50F than what's in the forecast for the next week. It'd certainly be more interesting than the long stretch of dry weather we've had. Hoping week 2 trends in a different, snowier direction.

Road trip!

Perfect timing cause I've always wanted to go hiking around Metaline Falls and the wilderness there lol.

Though Twin Peaks was filmed around Snoqualmie and North Bend, the actual town was based around there. Pretty cool pristine area of the state that doesn't get a lot of attention.

I have never been that far NE before, think I might go out that way for my once a year solocation this year. Been only living in this state my entire 46yr life…It’s time to explore all of the awesome areas in the state.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

And there it is... lowland snow with strong onshore flow.

Actually flow is temporarily from the SE during that snow event.

GFS actually parks that deep trough right over us by day 12.    I think nature knows when we are leaving for Hawaii.   😀

Obviously a long way to go since the EPS doesn't show anything close.   But the timing would make sense.
