We need something to start showing up in the models. This 44 degree constant light rain day after day is wearing me down. I miss my yard color and sunny warm days…If we are not going to get cold and snow let’s just end it now and get spring going.
Downvote away! Or fling wieners…

Still some snow piles here but even they are brown or gray.  Probably only a few weeks away from the first flowers of spring

It's amazing how much longer the snow sticks around up there, must be because you're pretty sheltered from southerlies. Our snowfall totals were pretty similar with this event, but there was almost no trace of snow by last weekend.

There was still a decent snowpack in the shady wooded areas here a few days ago. Though, Our street is pretty open and runs north south so it is one of the first areas to melt out.  The snowbank at the top of my mom’s driveway is still a couple feet high.

Pretty meaningless.    We had tons of snow in January in my area as recently as 2020.     Decent chance we have nothing this January.

Last January had a pretty decent snowfall too. At least up here:

A bit more in January 2020:

image.thumb.jpeg.1440ecc3511b70c64c616dd8af7974fd.jpeg

And places further south and a few places up here got clobbered in Jan 2017 (not much here though):

At least January is still running ahead of November and March. My stats for March are abysmal, though I'd gladly sacrifice that month for better stuff in December/February.

Pagliacci is the best hands down. And boy have I been feeling the hypertension lately. Probably need to cut back on the booze. Too many hazy’s with officer Tim

The GFS seems to take a shorter path to getting us to below normal temps again.  I would like to see it be right, but the odds are against it I imagine.
