Temp peaked at 31 and is on its way back down.  The clouds look very thick and heavy to the west, just need them to keep marching east.  Been watching the radar through the afternoon and the movement has been painfully slow....

 

The pessimist in me says it won't make it, but it will suit me fine to be proven wrong!

More snowflakes are mixing in now. Probably a 50/50 mix of snow and sleet. Thinks are quickly becoming whiter as the ice layer is getting covered up with flakes. Merry Christmas!

Snow Wiz was right. This event has been snow the entire time. The entire puget sound area turning white. Pretty magical!

Seattle NWS still thinking main closed low forms in the coastal waters and moves inland over SW WA tonight, changing areas south of OLM to rain or freezing rain.

Congrats guys!! Awesome to see all this unfolding on Christmas Eve of all days! Love seeing all the reports coming in around Portland and seeing the snow beginning to lay on the webcams. Merry Christmas everyone!!
