I have PTSD from yesterday. Hopefully the 1" we're expected to get from this will not be dust.

Yeah same here. Came down steady for about 4 hours but we had 3 hours 40 minutes of white sand followed by 20 minutes of fat flakes.

I'll take 2" to cover up the grass completely. That would make the depth at my place about 4-5", which should hopefully be enough to knock temps down a couple degrees Thursday. Current forecasted high is 38.

man, you must live in the best spot in Lincoln haha we would need close to 4" today to get to 4-5". Feels like we have close to an inch tops over here.

Can't be worse than last night's miss. What'd you get anyways? Had only 1.1" in Marshall

Correction!! In a rare publishing, GRR's graphic included Marshall and....wait for it....it gives me a BONUS 0.1"

The proof:

Been snowing here for 5 hours.  Flakes have gotten bigger and intensity has picked back up.  I think we easily will hit 3" and if it continues we might hit 4"

Sweet. This looks more tame as it then suddenly rockets eastward and tries to give a thin streak of half that

OAX issued an advisory. Little late since the snow has already started lol.

Yeah I thought they'd do it in the morning today. But they had one of their most annoyingly conservative forecasters on hand so it didn't happen.

lol south Lincoln is super rich. I used to live in the bad areas around 13th and E

I think I had 2 bikes stolen there

Bad area as in we're getting no snow atm lol. I agree, I like it here. Really nice houses. Another really underrated area are areas between Normal/Capitol and Hwy 2. Those are old houses but really nice. Wouldn't mind living there as my first house.

Areas just South of Downtown remind me of South Side Chicago. I think that's why there's so many fights IN downtown at night.

Schools in St. Joseph, MO let out 2 hours early today. Snow was supposed to begin at 11 ish, with up to 3 inches accumulating throughout the evening. It's now 3:00, my son is home, and would just be getting ready to be dismissed otherwise. Radar makes it look as though snow is all around, but we haven't seen a single flake touch the ground!
