I have about 3” or so as of 20 min ago. This band to the west has some higher reflectivity on radar. Maybe some weak instability. 6” is definitely in play.

;) l'm looking forward to my Sunny and 56º Tues

There’s actually 11,482 lakes in the ‘Land of 10,000 Lakes.’

Actually, I don’t have flood insurance, as my house sits about 25 ft above lake level.

Yes, I know that...

Still, you might want to get some...I heard Pat Robertson is predicting a tsunami off Superior...

Talk about "banking off of that northeast wind!"!

I'll just have 40 acres; a mule...and indoor plumbing...to go!

September, 1864:

The Union soldiers burned Atlanta; but I assure you they took no pleasure in their task...they were forced to it; by a man they hated more than they could ever hate the Rebels; an ugly, sullen, unbelievably brutal man named William Tecumseh Sherman.

It was Sherman himself who started the awful fires; the fires that burned that great citadel of grace & beauty...

Another 0.28" of rain, here, adding to an already wet month.  Again, I'm really looking forward to some ground-thawing the next few days so some of this water can soak in and the big puddle on my patio can drain.

season snowfall: 34.8"

'22-23: 30.2"      '21-22: 27.1"      '20-21: 52.5"      '19-20: 36.2"      '18-19: 50.2"      '17-18: 39.5"

Average snowfall: ~30"

Finished with about 6.5” here last night. 2 storm total was just over 12”. No place left to put much snow with the piles from January.

Your blower looks very much like mine when I lived in NMI. In Feb of '94, the pile where my drive met the street was so high, I had to fully open my chute and hope the machine would throw it high enough to land on top. I remember the pile was still 7 feet high in early April when my yard was already bare. That's what I call "no place left to put snow"
