March 3th-7th Bowling Ball

0.7" fell here overnight.  There was an ok band of snow a few hours ago, but it wasn't heavy enough to counteract the strong sun radiating through the clouds.  Everything is melting this afternoon.  Grass is showing again.  My total for the entire event is 1.5".

I'll just add 0.7" on to my inch from yesterday and just call it there. As the snow showers today are not accumulating well at all. 0.5" may have been a bit generous as patches of grass are starting to poke through here as well.

2021-22 Snowfall: (Hiawatha)

TOTAL: 10.2"

(12/28: 3.0") (12/29: 0.8")

(1/1: 6.4")

People always say "I hope your area gets lots of snow" but I am far too honest ( and / or) selfish to make such a statement.

The only place I am concerned about seeing snow is the place where I am.

That right there im sure a lot of people don't like to admit it, but claim they are perfect and root for everyone else. Sorry but im only concerned on how my area is doing and how i will reach average snow totals. Id say in west Omaha we got a little over 2 inches which puts my backyard around 21 for the year. We only need 4-5 more to reach average.

I just checked my snow board and it seems we did get some additional accumulation after all.  The part of the board I cleared was still pretty clean(it melted even though it's painted white(not bright enough)), but the rest of the board, on which I compacted the snow this morning, has another 0.2" on it following the final band of snow late this afternoon.  So, my storm total is 1.7".  My gauge caught another 0.04" of precip, which had already melted in the gauge.

season snowfall: 34.8"

'22-23: 30.2"      '21-22: 27.1"      '20-21: 52.5"      '19-20: 36.2"      '18-19: 50.2"      '17-18: 39.5"

Average snowfall: ~30"

I'm just going to go with that because you keep a snowboard and I'm too lazy to do that and just use a table, which had water all over it lol.
