This track will tend to favor
the central and south valley for potential accumulating snow
with lower chances farther north into the Portland metro. This
is reflected by probabilistic guidance capping chances for an
inch of snow at generally 10 percent or less in the Portland
metro while keeping central and south valley locations at 20-30
percen

31 and snowing lightly here with a solid coating on the ground. Radar looks nice for a fairly widespread 0.5”-1” between North Seattle and Marysville with up to 2” in the heaviest showers between now and about 8:30AM. Everything on radar is slowly moving West.

Got about 1.5 inches here yesterday evening.   I cleared off the driveway last night and now it's icy.

Didn’t see this post before I asked. We got about 3” here, hope it doesn’t all melt today before the real cold air arrives. Currently 29.8 and if the NAM is correct we are done until Sunday morning.

12Z NAM is basically on board now.    Massive increase in snow for SW WA and Portland compared to previous runs.   I think the Tacoma area and all of Pierce County might get in on the action early tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately, this tunneled hole in the snow looks almost perfectly lined up with my house. Heavy snow North and South but may almost all miss me unless the structure of the bands change a bit.

That's all actually from this current band of snow in Clark County. Doesn't show much after this point which is when the other models really dump the most snow

I just posted about this lol. Yeah I think some places south of Seattle just might eke out some snow tonight.

Given that northward extent of precip is a known modeling issue in this type of situation and the ECMWF is showing plenty of snow for Tacoma... I am guessing you will do better than you are saying.
