Given that northward extent of precip is a known modeling issue in this type of situation and the ECMWF is showing plenty of snow for Tacoma... I am guessing you will do better than you are saying.

Is the 6z euro showing snow? I only saw last nights run and it looked close but not far enough to get into pierce county.

Definitely showing snow.   2+ inches in Tacoma.

12Z NAM is basically on board now.    Massive increase in snow for SW WA and Portland compared to previous runs.   I think the Tacoma area and all of Pierce County might get in on the action early tomorrow morning.

Euro is really showing a major event down there. I trust that more than the hi-res models. I think this will be the best event since January 2017 there.

That would be cool. Definitely a nice band across Clark county this morning. PDX had a lot of work to do with temps.

Was a nice little drive into the office for a bit through South Seattle. Got to see some snowflakes flying while I'm in town. I'm happy!

Even the models that had this banding didn’t extend it that far north. Maybe WRF?

None of the models that I saw last night showed anything other than possibly the lightest dusting. Insane!!! Also it’s 27.9 degrees.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Looks like more than the 0.2” you thought you’d get yesterday. Told ya there was no telling what would happen with this event.

You were right!! I was not expecting anything. Usually at least one model would show something usually…Not this time!
