I’d be surprised if we saw more than 1” tonight. It’s still pretty early and the models showed a lot of snow in the south sound falling early in a couple hours from now or early in the morning.

I'm not too confident that the Tacoma area will get much snow tonight.  The radar looks good but we are just not getting it down to the surface.  Maybe it will moisten up later and actually amount to something, we'll see.  I know the NWS did issue an advisory but maybe that jinxed us, who knows....

Sounds like the Nanaimo - Nanoose area is sitting around 6~12". My Dad went out and measured at their place in Nanoose and it was just over 12" deep. Still dumping there from the looks of it on the cams:

Slide 91

Also, starting to get some anemic snow in Victoria. Most of it seems to be sublimating on impact, but at this rate there could be a token dusting by the morning. Looking better in Shawnigan's area:
Slide 131

Ladysmith is getting dumped on again:

It also extends up to Qualicum Beach, so the band is certainly wider now than it was previously:

27F with some moderate snow at times here.

Literally the only spot in the metro area not getting snow right now and it looks like that isn't going to change. There's a perfect 2 mile wide hole that just won't fill in, with me in the exact dead center. This is so much more agonizing than just missing out entirely. To be dead center in such a small hole like this is torturous.

The Euro and GFS both started calling for dustings here today, but given I’ve already had a dusting and how many echoes there are on the radar I’m starting to get the feeling this may significantly overperform.

Just a dusting here, it's currently 27F with 82% humidity but the stuff reaching the surface is a lot less impressive than the radar would have you believe. I guess the air column is still pretty dry overall.

Snow stopped for a little while but it’s starting up again. Radar was donut holing us for awhile but starting to fill in again. Heaviest snow of the night so far currently just not enough to stick. 33 with a breezy cold east wind.

Haven’t had a snow in over an hour also. This donut hole is killer lol

I have seen so many models over the years showing shadowing around my area but I almost always end up with more. Hopefully that’s the case again.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

We’ve been getting more frequent bursts of snow here…which usually indicates the snow will eventually break through. Models showed this taking some time, so I’m not worried about it yet.

Main band appears to be rotating finally. Echoes should start to train more and more west of I-5.

Another heavy band about to get over us. How much do you think my area will end up with? We're at around 1.5" right now, most of it in the past hour

Sister in Law located near Fishers Landing ('Merican' Vancouver) says they have 4 inches. I think we have some posters in that area of Vancouver who could confirm?
