Sitting at 41/27. I’m a little worried that’s too warm of a dew point…

Man I've used a bunch of firewood this season, I think more than ever.

My burning season starts in September and it's all we use to heat our home.

Normally burn around 4.5 cord and we are already at 4 cord.

We will be burning well into April so we'll be at around 5.5 to 6 cord this season. Crazy!

RGEM showing a pretty nice CZ setting up right in the middle of Snohomish county after the front comes through.

ECMWF has been showing the same thing on every run.

This is starting to feel like a bust tonight here. Looking like some rain shadow for a bit at least. Not even a flurry yet here. Or it's just running behind on timing

It’s early man…if it was like 10-11pm and you hadn’t seen flakes yet I’d be worried maybe. Based on what we’re seeing out on the coast and up north I don’t think this one’s going to bust.

ECMWF doesn't show precip reaching the ground in your area until 9 or 10... all good.    Its definitely coming.   I am guessing 4 inches in your area by morning.

Started snowing here, and interestingly enough, the temp has jumped up to 35 (it was sitting at 33).  Light flurries at this point.

Yeah I’m up to 36 now! I was at 32 a bit ago. Nothing falling yet.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Tuesday is looking really good.  The GFS is a tad south of previous runs with the low track and it continues to show snow falling early in the day temps below freezing.  850s plunge to -9 Tuesday night.  Wednesday morning is going to be straight up wintry!

Tonight is just going to come down to how much precip actually verifies.  I think an overperformance is quite possible, but the dry air will certainly eat up some moisture early in the game.
