Euro is very wet up here over the next week. 6”+ of rain. Pretty big drop off as you head south though.

Wow... that is a serious north/south gradient.    Its actually drier than normal in Seattle on this run.

I would assume the euro is overdone up here.  We only average 4.75” of rain in a typical February and that pattern doesn’t look extraordinary.

Sunny and 51... beautiful day.   

My wife is home today and said she is feeling the gardening vibe.   I told her she is a idiot and it will snow again and it's impossible for it to feel like spring until there is zero chance of snow at any point in the future.  And I gave a her a big downvote.   That'll teach her.

Mostly clear and 41 currently. Clouds look to be increasing this afternoon, so today should be the last of the clear and cold pattern. Looking forward to some rain.

Depends on surface pressure gradients. When the flow is offshore it can snow with 850s as high as 0c. With lots of onshore flow they generally need to be at least -7 to -8c to have a chance at anything at the lowest elevations.
