Took this outside my place. We're over 3" now, measured 4" in some spots. Power outages are occurring across town. The snow is turning kinda powdery.

I don't think I need to say this, but we beat our record snowfall today. Cuz, well, this is the first time measurable snow has fallen on October 14th.

Dude! 'grats. Your reverse psychology/pessimism thing finally worked . Took ya a bit to dial that in eh? You just got my Oct 19th 1989

LNK do you know the stats of what those winters ended up like? Obviously we know what happened in 2009-2010. I am just curious if there is any correlation when we receive the overall rare October snow.

I looked at it. October snow doesn't seem to have much correlation with how a Winter plays out.
