Out old warning said 4-10” through 5p Saturday between 1000’ and 2000’. New warning says additional 5-10” and takes out mention of elevation in our zone. Makes more sense…

Looks like a pretty chilly start to April.

Hoping we can hit a 70 in early April.  Not looking good for it though.

I’m sure we will hit 70 in April. Well at least down here.

Maybe the second half of April.   In the Ag Weather update yesterday they talked about the MJO going into phase 6 or 7 next and that usually means PNW troughing in April according to their maps.

April troughing is okay.  When we have nice breaks like we did last week it makes it feel pretty good.  Some rain, some sun and I'm good.

The mountains are going to be picking up some good snow pack.

Gonna hit Rattlesnake Ledge tomorrow.  A few weeks ago it was pretty icy near the top with some light snow falling.  Probably picked up more snow today though.

Tim, how does the snow line look up your way?

I’ll be honest with you. As long as we don’t torch for months at a time, I’m good.

Posted pic a couple hours ago.   Likely going to be much lower tomorrow morning though.

I appreciate your honesty Andrew!

And I'll be honest with you too... as long as we get some decent breaks like we have coming up this week, I'm good.

12z EPS. Pattern can’t decide which way it wants to go, but troughy west theme seems to win out in the end.

I’ve really enjoyed this winter. Most enjoyable winter in over a decade. It’s just been fun!

It was pretty nice overall based on my personal preferences too... lots of sunny days and dry periods mixed in and snow in December.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Here comes the next round of niño-esque forcing. Subsidence in the E-IO, enhanced convection about to cross the dateline later in week-2.

The new EPS weeklies also have the stable subsidence signal over the E-IO. In fact this entire hovmoller has more similarity to El Niño than La Niña.

6” of sloppy snow on the ground now, about an inch more than when I left this morning. About two inches actually fell, but the depth only increased an inch because it’s very wet snow and there was some melting throughout the day.

Had a friend hike it yesterday and was in good shape. Tomorrow it is going to be covered in snow.

Tim, I’d be surprised if you don’t see some accumulation tonight.

Definitely... expecting at least 2 inches maybe more depending on the exact position of the c-zone.

Was working in Victoria today and it was a really pleasant afternoon with a cool breeze.  Looks like I’ll be driving through a bit of snow on my way home though.

Live look where this webcam is located.  Absolutely dumping. Sticking snow level is about 1000ft.
