Maybe I’m weird but I’ve always liked the early sunsets. The long evenings can be cozy. On the flip side I’ve always enjoyed the super late sunsets on the opposite side of the year too. I enjoy dynamism when it comes to daylight length throughout the year. To me it would be strange living at a lower latitude where daylight length and sun angle are more uniform year round. I realize this is just personal preference though.
The Willamette Basin snow pack is up to 108% of normal. 119% in the S. Oregon Cascades, SE Oregon has great snow pack. The Blitzen and Owyhee will be running high. Malheur Lake is already filling up.
There's always "Next Year"...as some have been discussing on here, what can we look for when we go from a Strong Nino into a La Nina next Winter??? Survey says...(courtesy WGN)
What does the Good Ol' CFSv2 indicate way out in lala land....last 12 runs...
Bozeman is incredible, I would love to live there, but housing is so ridiculously expensive. Renting *might* be a little better, but you are probably looking at 7 figures to buy a house worth living in. I even looked at Livingstone which is about 30 minutes or so up the highway, and even there the prices were quite high.
Good luck with your job search!!!!
