Looks like North Bend peaked at 68.   It felt like summer mowing the lawn today.   No chill to the air at all... barely a breeze.

65 at SEA today... and 66 in Bremerton where they were given only a 2% chance of reaching 60 degrees.   They have done it two days in a row.    Just miraculous beating almost impossible odds!

Looks like 66/35 here today.  This might be the last day in the remarkable streaks of cold minimums many stations have going.  For me this was the 40th straight day to have a low of 40 or lower.  It's even more impressive when you look at the streaks of cold temps earlier in the season as well.

So much moisture has gotten shunted down to CA this season.  They most certainly needed it very badly though.

Looks like lows in the 40s across King County tonight per the ECMWF with incoming clouds and the east wind increasing.   The highs in the low to maybe mid 60s tomorrow but it will be more cloudy.   Rain arrives around 6 or 7 p.m. tomorrow evening (later north of Seattle) and goes off and on through most of Monday.    Then clearing and warmer Tuesday... and sunny Wednesday and a few degrees warmer again.   

A nice weekend and a rainy Monday... perfect timing.

Looks like lots in the upper Fraser. That's typically the worst smoke producing region for our area so it's good to see. I didn't realize that area was running above average for snowpack.

And that is crap too.   It shows a 40% chance of rain in North Bend by 9 a.m. and an 85% chance by 3 p.m.

In reality there is close to a 0% chance through 5 p.m.    Here is the precip map at 5 p.m. per the ECMWF.   And there is offshore flow ahead of the rain so it won't be coming in faster.    85% chance by 3 p.m. is just stupid.

Very nice day. Ended up with a 66/38 here, which is a pretty typical top end for a mid to late March warm spell.

Looked like PDX was going to make a run for their first 70 for a minute there, but they ended up with a 68/39. 

Should be the first spring rain smell by tomorrow afternoon. Always love how it smells when the rain comes back after the first couple warm days in the spring.

Got a nice spring hike in in the Catherine Creek area between Hood River and The Dalles today. Temps in the mid 60s with light winds out there. The grass widows have started blooming, they are the first flower of the spring to show up in the Gorge, and were definitely a couple weeks late this year.

So glad I don’t get sick like that. My gf was puking her soul out all last week and it sounded about as pleasant as a root canal. Maybe it’s the same bug.

66/38 for the day for me it was really nice today. Hoping we can see some similar days this spring with sun though we do need to get a decent soaking up here soon because it has been dry.
